Lymphatic drainage treats issues with the Lymphatic System.
The Lymphatic System is a major body organ that defends our bodies in fighting infections; and detoxifies and removes waste, excess fluid, toxin and bacteria. It is basically the bodies waste disposal unit.
Lymphatic drainage massage is a form of superficial massage that targets the lymphatic system. The pressure and direction of the massage encourages natural circulation of lymph flow.
This form of massage is available to anyone but it can be especially beneficial for people experiencing lymphoedema, fluid retention, oedema during pregnancy and post breast surgery.
